Gunnison Valley Health seeks an accomplished Director of Imaging to provide leadership for Imaging and Cardiopulmonary Programs. This role partners with radiologists, staff and senior management to set strategic direction and implement future-state plans for service development.

TheDirector will lead staff development, policy creation, capital budgeting, regulatory compliance and strategic insights to drive sustainability and excellence in patient care, while maintaining proficiency in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Allied Health Administration or equivalent education and certification with ARRT in Radiography (Education)
• Minimum of 5 years experience as a Radiologic Technologist with general radiography, fluoroscopy and CT experience
• Experience in personnel supervision, equipment management and physician relations
• Leadership of Imaging Services Department for 3+ years preferred but not mandatory
• Maintains current competency for radiographic studies and standard of care

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop staff in Imaging and Cardiopulmonary departments
• Establish and maintain department policies and procedures
• Foster accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement
• Evaluate radiographic/fluoroscopic exams and ensure department criteria
• Develop and monitor annual operating budgets
• Manage day-to-day imaging service operations
• Provide direct patient care as Radiologic Technologist when required
