Job summary

Waters Corporation is seeking a Lead Identity & Application Security Engineer to secure its global customer-facing digital platforms. The role spans IAM, Web Security, and Application Security with hands-on work on Okta, Azure AD, SAML/OIDC, and WAF/CDN technologies (Akamai, Cloudflare).

You will drive secure development practices, mentor engineers, and collaborate with security operations to strengthen detection and response capabilities across Waters’ digital ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IAM, Application Security, Web Security or related Cybersecurity Engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve identity and access management controls; manage authentication, authorization, and access governance with Okta/Azure AD.
• Implement and manage WAF policies and security controls; support secure code reviews, pen testing, DAST and vulnerability assessments.
• Collaborate with engineering to strengthen secure development practices and address security risks; monitor SIEM, perform log analysis, and report on security posture.
• Provide technical leadership across Identity Security, Application Security and Digital Platform Security initiatives.
