Job summary

The Chronicle of Higher Education seeks an Identity and Access Manager to lead the IAM program, partner with Information Security, and enforce security strategies and policies. This role focuses on building a central IAM framework across College systems and platforms, aligning with security standards.

Responsibilities include managing access controls, RBAC transitions, and IAM interfaces, while ensuring compliance and ongoing staff development within the DT IT Systems department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years’ experience related to essential performance requirements.
• Two years' experience supervising (leading people, processes, or projects).

Responsibilities

• Ensures appropriate user access to systems, applications, and data based on role, at the appropriate time and in accordance with security and compliance standards.
• Transitions current group and individual-based security and access controls to RBAC.
• Designs, develops, and validates IAM interfaces to applications.
• Manages service delivery performance for IAM lifecycle.
• Manages provisioning/deprovisioning processes per policies and procedures.
• Ensures quality and integrity of critical access controls.
