University of Utah is seeking an Employment Eligibility Compliance Manager to lead the university's employment eligibility program, directing I-9 and E-Verify compliance, policy development, audit readiness, and regulatory monitoring. This role interfaces with the Office of General Counsel, HRIS, HR Operations, and other partners to mitigate risk and improve operations.

The position offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in Downtown SLC, 2 days remote), with a pay range of $75,000 to $80,000 and

Competenze

• Equivalency of education for related work experience.
• Manager requires bachelor's + 6 years or master's + 4 years of directly related work experience.
• Familiar with I-9 compliance and regulations including international hires.

Mansioni

• Lead I-9, E-Verify, and related compliance program with audit readiness and regulatory alignment.
• Oversee risk management and corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with Office of General Counsel, HRIS, HR Operations, and cross-functional partners to address compliance risks.
• Drive program improvement and strategic leadership of compliance systems and workflows.
