Job summary

JEVS Human Services Career Center is seeking anHuman Resources Manager to provide full-cycle HR support across designated programs. You will partner with leaders on employee relations, talent acquisition, performance management, and HR initiatives aligned with our mission.

The role combines strategic advisory work with hands-on execution and requires maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field required.
• 3+ years of HR experience, including employee and labor relations.
• Knowledge of employment laws and compliance.
• Strong communication and advisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to managers on day-to-day employee and labor relations matters.
• Advise on HR policies, procedures, and legal considerations for employee relations.
• Conduct and support HR investigations as needed.
• Develop and maintain positive labor-management relations with union representatives.
• Utilize HR metrics to identify trends and improve workforce planning.
• Guide managers on performance management, disciplinary matters, and employee concerns.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop recruitment strategies and compensation recommendations.
• Assist with onboarding, offers, background checks, and new hire paperwork.
• Educate managers on HR policies and employment laws to promote compliance.
• Ensure HR programs align with company policies and applicable laws.
• Support organizational change and performance initiatives.
