Job summary

Aspirus Keweenaw Hospital in Laurium, Michigan is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join our HR team. The HRBP collaborates with leaders to drive business strategy through HR, covering employee relations, counseling, corrective action, labor relations, performance management and engagement. Full-Time or 1.0 FTE (80 hours biweekly).

Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred. 5+ years HR experience recommended; HR certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent is required.
• Master's Degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years progressive HR experience preferred.
• HR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Client leaders to drive business strategy through Human Resources.
• Handle employee relations, counseling and corrective action, labor relations, and performance management.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and collaboration with HR Centers of Expertise.
• Assist in development and implementation of HR policies and practices.
