Job summary

Snohomish County Central Human Resources seeks a Project Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) for the Compensation & Classification team. The role partners with department leaders and unions to support workforce planning, job description updates, and compensation analysis.

As a strategic partner, you will oversee equity analyses, classifications, and policy interpretation while maintaining high customer service and detailed communication with stakeholders across county operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business/public administration or related field.
• Two years of HR administration experience related to functions; or equivalent.
• Professional HR certification preferred (SHRM-CP/PHR/IPMA-CP).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership in compensation and classification functions.
• Ensure policy compliance with laws, codes, contracts and guidelines.
• Develop and oversee programs, projects, and trainings within budget and resources.
• Advise managers on county policies and procedures.
• Represent HR perspectives in interdepartmental and public meetings.
