Responsibilities include developing strategic plans, guiding HR programs, and partnering with management to drive performance and engagement. This role emphasizes safety, collaboration, and manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• One year of leadership experience.
• Five years of human resources experience.
• No relatives currently employed at Nucor Steel Gallatin.

Responsibilities

• Oversees benefits administration (medical/dental, FSA, vision, life, disability, 401k) and compliance.
• Oversees weekly payroll administration and attendance tracking.
• Manages employee relations and conducts investigations; counsels on policies.
• Oversees recruiting of full-time teammates and student employment programs.
• Oversees division-wide training activities and teammate development.
• Oversees community relations and advertising.
• Participates in developing and implementing strategic plans to meet objectives.
