General Mills in Cedar Rapids, IA is seeking a Senior HR Business Associate to provide HR leadership for the Cedar Rapids Plant with 750+ employees. You will partner with plant leadership to drive talent strategies, recruitment, onboarding, development, and change initiatives.

The role focuses on cultivating a positive culture, aligning HR programs with business goals, and delivering results through collaboration with divisions like L&D, central HR, and operations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Labor Relations, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant HR/employee relations experience.
• Experience leading and supporting strategic initiatives, influencing others, and driving results and significant change.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills with a focus on attention to detail and customer service.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical thinking skills; ability to translate data into recommendations.
• Ability to lead and manage projects independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and willingness to learn SharePoint.

Responsabilidades

• Provide HR leadership to the Cedar Rapids Plant.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to drive sustainable change through strong HR knowledge and change management expertise.
• Develop strategies to recruit, onboard, and train new production and support team members.
• Develop the capability of our plant operators through employee development and process improvement.
• Lead HR initiatives including employee relations, workforce planning, succession planning, and staffing.
• Lead HR initiatives in partnership with Recruiting, Diversity & Inclusion, and Change Management.
