Job summary

The Area Human Resources Business Partner serves the employees of their assigned locations in all areas of human resources at one or more life plan communities or one or more home health and hospice locations in accordance with company standards and federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, regulations, and laws, ensuring effective delivery of employment services to staff members.

Essential Activities include HR management, recruitment, compliance, and people development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
• Five years experience in human resources.
• Strong knowledge of employment guidelines, regulations, and laws.
• Proficiency with Workday and an ATS.

Responsibilities

• Resolves questions about HR policies and procedures and communicates changes.
• Develops and updates job descriptions with Corporate HR.
• Administers performance reviews and employee relations.
• Manages recruitment, onboarding, and new hire orientation.
• Ensures compliance with federal and state regulations and maintains personnel records.
• Oversees leave requests and workers’ compensation activities.
• Participates in budget development for HR at the location.
