Job summary

AAR Corp. is seeking a Senior Manager, Human Resources to drive strategic HR initiatives across the Supply Chain.

Based at our Wood Dale, IL corporate headquarters with a planned move to the Merchandise Mart in Chicago in early 2027, you will partner with leadership to enhance workforce capability and engagement. You will lead workforce planning, talent management, performance management, and change initiatives while guiding HR programs and centers of excellence to support enterprise objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field.
• 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Experience serving as an HR business partner to operational or business leaders.
• Experience with employee relations, talent management, workforce planning, performance management, and organizational effectiveness.
• Ability to influence and coach leaders at multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Strategic HR Partnership: serve as a trusted advisor to Supply Chain leaders and align people strategies with objectives.
• Workforce Planning: lead short- and long-term planning, labor requirements, succession risk and staffing strategies.
• Talent Management & Succession: lead talent reviews, leadership development, and development planning.
• Employee Relations: provide leadership on complex employee relations matters and ensure compliant resolutions.
• Change Management: lead people aspects of significant organizational change.
• HR Analytics & Insights: analyze workforce metrics and translate insights into recommendations.
• Employee Experience & Engagement: work with leaders to improve engagement and retention.
• HR Program Execution: deliver integrated HR solutions with centers of excellence.
• Compliance & Risk Management: promote policy consistency and identify risks.
