BlueScope Coated Products is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR processes, policies, and performance management aligned with business goals. The role partners with leadership to drive engagement, compliance, and organizational improvement across manufacturing facilities.

The ideal candidate brings 7+ years in HR management, expertise in employment law, compensation, benefits, and experience in recruiting for professional and production roles.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 7 years of Human Resources Management experience.
• Knowledge of employment laws and applications.
• Experience leading recruiting and staffing for professional and production roles.
• Experience with compensation practices and salary/incentive plan administration.
• Experience administering health and welfare plans and employee counseling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement recruiting and staffing plans to improve selection, diversity, and retention outcomes.
• Facilitate performance management and change management support.
• Develop and deploy HR policies and procedures.
• Counsel and coach supervisors and managers on policies and employment law.
• Administer salary and incentive plans and benefits programs.
• Provide training and development support for employees and managers.
• Drive employee engagement, communication, and recognition plans.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
