Martin Marietta Materials, Inc. is seeking a Senior Human Resources Generalist to partner with plant managers and operations leaders in Arizona.

This role will manage the full employee lifecycle—from talent acquisition and onboarding to performance management and employee relations—while ensuring strict compliance with MSHA/OSHA standards and federal/state labor laws. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in Heavy Industrial or Construction.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, conducting investigations into grievances and ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.
• Promote the ONE Martin Marietta culture, fostering an environment of mutual respect, inclusion, and diversity.
• Provide expert guidance to management and staff on the interpretation and execution of personnel policies, procedures, and programs.
• Lead the recruitment process for both technical (skilled trades, engineering) and non-technical roles, utilizing ATS and CRM tools to build a pipeline of diverse talent.
• Coordinate safety training and compliance-related webinars or workshops; support MSHA/OSHA requirements.
