Job summary

AA Healthcare Management in Milwaukee, WI seeks an HR Director to oversee benefits, compensation, and compliance. You will develop policies, coordinate recruiting, and lead HR initiatives across the organization.

The role requires strong communication, proficiency with Office tools, and the ability to manage time under deadlines. Experience in healthcare HR and knowledge of state and federal regulations are preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of health care is preferred.
• Proficiency in word processing and computer skills (Office, Excel, Power Point).
• Excellent telephone etiquette and communication skills are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and manages all aspects of recruiting efforts to fill vacant positions by sourcing resumes, screening candidates, scheduling interviews and providing follow-up with candidates in a timely manner.
• Welcomes new employees and conducts professional orientation meetings with a focus on retention.
• Delivers training to management in HR topics such as interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review, safety, and harassment.
• Assists with administering benefits programs (life, health, dental, disability, 401K, vacation, leave, EAP).
• Maintains HRIS data accuracy and generates necessary reports for compliance and studies.
• Ensures policies and reporting comply with state and federal laws.
• Assists with environmental, health and safety compliance, including workers’ compensation management.
