Job summary

Skagit Radiology, Inc., P.S. in Mount Vernon, WA seeks a strategic, hands-on Director of Human Resources to lead HR, Payroll, and Credentialing. Reporting to the CAO, this role serves as the go-to expert for people-related matters for physician shareholders, leadership, and staff.

You’ll build and run payroll and benefits, retirement plan administration, executive agreements, compliance audits, and recruiting, while using data to cut costs and improve processes as the practice grows.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership experience; healthcare or physician group experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with Paycom strongly preferred.
• Hands-on payroll, benefits administration (self-funded plans a plus), and 401(k) plan compliance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR, payroll, and credentials for staff and physicians.
• Lead recruitment strategy and onboarding for frontline staff to physicians and executives.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Develop and update policies and the employee handbook; oversee performance reviews.
• Manage compensation, benefits, and retirement plan administration.
• Oversee physician credentialing and re-credentialing; audit and optimize processes.
