Job summary

Heritage Facility Services (HFS) seeks an accomplished HR Director to lead the company’s human resources strategy, build scalable people practices, and partner with leadership to recruit and retain a strong workforce across the Mid-Atlantic region.

The role combines strategic HR initiatives with hands-on execution, including acquisitions integration, onboarding, policy compliance, employee relations, and development of managers. A track record in a growth environment is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years of progressive human resources experience.
• Experience supporting an hourly frontline workforce.
• SHRM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR initiatives and day-to-day execution to support growth and acquisitions.
• Partner with leadership to recruit, develop and retain a strong workforce.
• Develop scalable people practices and ensure compliance across locations.
• Advance employee engagement, performance, onboarding, and investigations.
• Oversee payroll, benefits, leave admin and HRIS systems.
