Job summary

NavSav Insurance is seeking a seasoned Director of Human Resources to lead all people operations for a growing agency with ~300 employees across multiple locations. The role requires hands-on leadership, ensuring compliance, scalability, and alignment with company values.

The ideal candidate will partner with executive and field leaders, drive talent strategy, manage employee relations, and oversee compensation, benefits, and HR systems. This is a working leadership role.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of progressive HR leadership in multi-state organizations.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance.
• Proven ability to autonomously lead strategy and operations.
• Experience collaborating with executives and field leaders.
• Experience in talent acquisition and HR process optimization.
• Proficient with HRIS, data reporting, and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR, talent strategy, and operational execution across locations.
• Coach leaders, manage employee relations, and handle escalations.
• Oversee compliance audits, regulatory filings, and reporting.
• Direct M&A HR activities, due diligence and integration.
• Manage compensation cycles, benefits, and 401(k) administration.
• Administer BambooHR and HR workflows; ensure data accuracy.
• Oversee leave, accommodations, and unemployment claims.
• Maintain employee handbook and HR policies.
