Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking an HR Business Partner to support one or more offices, driving people strategies and delivering HR services aligned with business goals. You will be the primary HR contact for office leaders and employees across key functions, helping to shape workforce planning, leadership development, and program delivery.

You will collaborate with COEs and leadership teams to implement policies, manage employee relations, and provide analytics to inform decision making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or relevant field.
• 8+ years of relevant human resources experience.

Responsibilities

• Partners with business leaders to align HR strategies with goals and build strong partnerships across offices.
• Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures and best practices to managers and employees.
• Collaborate with HR to deliver services, training, and programs supporting business units and HR objectives.
• Manage employee relations, investigations, and development of fair resolutions.
• Support talent management initiatives including workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development.
• Analyze compensation with business leaders to maintain external competitiveness and internal equity.
• Ensure legal compliance with HR-related laws and regulations.
• Analyze HR data to identify trends and provide actionable insights and recommendations.
• Conduct exit interviews and develop retention strategies with leadership.
• Evaluate current HR practices and participate in program development and improvements.
