Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner Level 3 or 4 for the Western Region Manufacturing and Operations team, based in Oxnard, CA. The role requires travel to California sites and a DoD Secret clearance.

You will partner with leadership to drive talent strategies, organizational effectiveness, and change initiatives. Ideal candidates hold a BA/BS (or higher) in business, HR or related field, with 5–8+ years of HRBP experience; PHR/SPHR and Workday HRIS are preferred.

Qualifications

• Level 3 requires a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR, Psychology, or related field with 5+ years of HRBP experience OR a Master’s with 3+ years.
• Level 4 requires a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR, Psychology, or related field with 8+ years of HRBP experience OR a Master’s with 6+ years.
• Will consider an additional 4+ years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional HR projects and manage multiple concurrent tasks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a strategic business partner and consultant to internal customers and stakeholders.
• Build relationships across HR COEs and establish a deep understanding of the business.
• Identify trends, risks, and opportunities; provide data-driven insights to leadership.
• Drive retention through differentiated rewards and analysis of attrition drivers.
• Lead or support change projects to evolve organizational capability and improve operating model.
