Job summary

Altera is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to align HR strategies with business goals and work closely with senior leadership to develop people plans. This role reports to the Sr. Director, HRBP and L&D and will operate from the San Jose office four days per week.

You will support talent management, leadership development, and change initiatives while using HR analytics to inform decisions and promote an inclusive workplace in a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• HR certification (SHRM, etc.) is a plus.
• 3+ years of progressive HR experience with significant HRBP experience in tech/semiconductor space.
• Strong business acumen, problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with executive leaders to understand business goals and develop HR strategies.
• Influence business strategy with insights on people trends and their impact on performance.
• Ensure alignment of HR initiatives with company plans and objectives.
• Support talent management including succession planning, leadership development, and career pathing.
• Collaborate with leaders to address talent gaps and drive performance improvements.
• Lead change initiatives and design programs to improve organizational effectiveness.
