Job summary

Oglethorpe Power Corp. seeks an experienced HR Business Partner to serve generation facilities across Georgia and the OPC corporate headquarters. You will consult with management on HR policy, employee relations, compensation, and benefits, ensuring alignment with corporate goals.

You will administer the performance management program, oversee goal setting and reviews, and coordinate HR projects with Compensation, Legal, and Training teams. Strong HRIS and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in HR, business administration or related field.
• 8-10 years of experience in Human Resources, minimum 6 years in Generalist capacity.
• Valid driver’s license; Professional HR certifications (PHR/SPHR) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR consulting to managers and associates on HR policy interpretation, compensation and benefits.
• Administer corporate-wide performance management; support goal setting, reviews and pay programs.
• Lead HR initiatives with Wellness, Employee Development, and Safety teams; HRIS administration.
