Job summary

International Medical Corps is seeking a Senior Manager, Country HR and Administration to lead HR and administrative functions across the country program, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and IMC policies, and supporting startup and registration where needed.

The role covers emergency response HR coordination, national and international staff management, HRIS and payroll oversight, policy development, safeguarding, and partner liaison with leadership to advance program goals.

Qualifications

• Typically, a Bachelor's degree in related area. Equivalent combination of relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate
• Typically, 10+ years of progressive HR professional experience with a minimum of 7 years as a head of HR department
• Previous experience with International Medical Corps is a plus

Responsibilities

• Lead HR and administration for country program offices, aligning with local laws and IMC policies.
• Manage emergency response HR activities and field operations.
• Support startup of offices and registration in country when needed.
• Develop HR strategy with country leadership and participate in SMT.
• Oversee HRIS, payroll, reporting for decision making.
• Implement HR programs and safeguarding, promote wellbeing.
• Coordinate national staff recruitment, onboarding, and contracts.
• Coordinate international staff onboarding, visas, and offboarding.
