Job summary

Don Moyer Boys & Girls Club is seeking a Director of Human Resources & Administration to lead HR and administrative operations across two sites, reporting directly to the CEO. The role manages the HR function, onboarding, benefits, records, payroll review, and confidential personnel matters, with supervision of the HR & Administrative Coordinator.

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive HR and administrative experience.
• Experience supervising administrative staff.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and compliance.
• Proficiency with MS Office and HR policies.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of the HR & Administrative Coordinator and coaching.
• Participate as an active member of the leadership team in planning, budgeting and collaboration.
• Oversee full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, and offers; manage confidential HR paperwork.
• Maintain employee records, administer benefits, and ensure HR compliance across regulations.
• Lead performance management, appraisals, and staff development planning; respond to workers' comp and unemployment claims.
• Oversee administrative operations, payroll review, and coordination of fundraising events.
