Zodiac Procurement, Inc. is seeking a Business Development Lead in Chicago to help uncover hotel procurement opportunities with mid- to large-size companies.

You will build and manage a pipeline, run discovery conversations with finance, travel, and procurement teams, and shape proposals that reflect actual hotel spend. From initial outreach to signature, you’ll guide customers through the process and ensure clear documentation of proposals and decisions.

Qualifications

• Experience selling a considered, consultative service to financetravelor procurement teams.
• Comfort with numbers; ability to read spend reports and identify key follow-up questions.
• Clear, direct writing and disciplined follow-through.
• Genuine interest in hospitality and how hotel pricing works.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage a pipeline of companies with hotel procurement opportunities.
• Run discovery conversations with finance, travel, and procurement stakeholders.
• Work with our sourcing team to shape a proposal reflecting the customer's actual hotel spend.
• Carry conversations through to signature and hand over to delivery teams.
• Keep clear records of what was proposed, when, and on what basis.
