Job summary

The Westin Boston Waterfront is seeking an experienced Director of Finance to be a trusted strategic partner to hotel leadership. You will lead all accounting and finance functions, safeguard internal controls, ensure policy compliance, and deliver timely reporting to drive confident decisions.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in financial leadership, strong budgeting and forecasting expertise, and proficiency with Excel and POS/PMS systems to support occupancy, ADR, RevPAR and GOP goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting and 5+ years in financial leadership roles.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, P&L reporting, and account reconciliation experience.
• Advanced analytical skills for data interpretation and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounting operations (AP, AR, payroll review, GL, cash management, fixed assets, reconciliations).
• Deliver timely financial statements, owner reports, cash flow reporting, and analyses.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure GAAP, policies, brand standards, regulations, audits and tax compliance.
