Baltimore Marriott Inner Harbor is seeking an Associate Director of Finance to support the hotel’s financial direction, safeguard assets, and deliver GAAP-compliant reports. You will coordinate budgeting, A/R functions, and balance sheet reconciliations with HEI standards.

The role requires a B.S. in Accounting and at least one year in hotel finance, with strong analytical and communication skills. On-site position with competitive benefits and career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting.
• One year experience in Hotel or Hospitality related Finance and Accounting.
• Knowledge of Hotel Financial Statements and reconciliation of A and L accounts.
• Analytical approach to problems with high regard for detail and accuracy.
• Sound administrative and managerial skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills.
• Training, coaching, and counseling abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Director of Finance in directing the financial activities of the hotel, safeguarding assets, and preparing financial reports per GAAP and HEI standards.
• Schedule, monitor, and evaluate controllable departmental expenditures within budget.
• Plan and schedule accounting personnel to meet business needs, including Night Audit.
• Prepare and review financial statements for hotel management and HEI Corporate requirements.
• Oversee Accounts Receivable functions and ensure aging targets are met.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and address problem accounts with the Director of Finance.
