Job summary

USA Health seeks a Chief Operating Officer to lead the Mobile area's hospital operations, aligning clinical and support services with enterprise strategy. The role requires collaboration with physicians, nursing and finance leadership to drive capacity, throughput and performance.

You will oversee enterprise standards, implement routine operating processes, and ensure accountability for safety, quality, and patient experience across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing, public health, or related field from an accredited institution.
• Master's Degree in healthcare administration, business administration, nursing, public health, or related field preferred.
• Experience in tertiary, academic, high-acuity, or multi-hospital environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive oversight of daily hospital operations and ensure reliable execution across clinical, ancillary, and support functions.
• Identify and resolve operational barriers that cross departments or service lines.
• Translate enterprise strategy into actionable facility operating plans and drive capacity management and patient flow.
• Partner with enterprise Directors to implement standardized processes, performance expectations, and strategic initiatives.
• Promote safety, quality, patient experience, and workforce culture throughout the facility.
