Job summary

Forest View Hospital, part of Universal Health Services (UHS), is a private 108-bed psychiatric facility located seven miles southeast of downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, with more than 45 years of experience in behavioral health care.

The Chief Operating Officer will collaborate with the CEO, guide the Leadership Team, and drive strategic planning, policy implementation, and measurable quality improvements across the hospital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Current and valid license in Michigan as RN, LMSW, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist as applicable.
• 5–10 years of progressive senior leadership experience in a hospital or related setting.
• Thorough knowledge of regulatory and accrediting standards (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS, DHHS).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Assist the CEO in managing hospital operations and lead the Leadership Team.
• Set objectives, develop plans, and direct activities of departments.
• Monitor budgets and productivity improvements across all departments.
