Forest View Hospital, part of Universal Health Services (UHS), is a private 108-bed psychiatric facility located seven miles southeast of downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, with more than 45 years of experience in behavioral health care.

The Chief Operating Officer will collaborate with the CEO, guide the Leadership Team, and drive strategic planning, policy implementation, and measurable quality improvements across the hospital.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Current and valid license in Michigan as RN, LMSW, LCSW, or Licensed Psychologist as applicable.
• 5–10 years of progressive senior leadership experience in a hospital or related setting.
• Thorough knowledge of regulatory and accrediting standards (e.g., Joint Commission, CMS, DHHS).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Forest View Hospital, located just seven miles southeast of downtown Grand Rapids, Michigan, is a private 108 bed psychiatric facility that serves children, adolescents and adults. We are licensed by the State of Michigan, fully accredited by The Joint Commission and we bring more than 45 years of experience to the evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of a wide range of behavioral health problems. As a part of our continued success and growth, we are seeking qualified applicants for our Chief Operating Officerposition.

Position Summary:

The Chief Operating Officer (COO) assists the CEO in managing the operations of Forest View Hospital (the "Hospital"). The COO provides recommendations and guidance to the Leadership Team, sets objectives, develops plans and directs activities of assigned departments/areas of responsibility. The COO plays a vital role in the strategic and long-term planning of the Hospital. The COO will assist in ensuring that quality measures are in place with all leadership and throughout the hospital with intention and a strong focus on measurable improvements. As a member of the Senior Management Team, this position ensures the development, implementation and evaluation of policies, procedures, programs, and services consistent with the Hospital's mission and vision. This includes analysis, reporting and consultation to support the goals and objectives of the Hospital as well as managing and monitoring budgets and productivity improvements in all departments.

Qualifications

Educational/Licensure/Experience Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree in nursing, Health Care Administration, Business, Social Work or Psychology preferred.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint applications required.
