Cadmus seeks candidates to support homeland security exercises for public and private sector clients, partners, and stakeholders. You will design, conduct, and evaluate exercise programs addressing terrorism, cybersecurity, and natural disasters, with opportunities for policy assessment, policy research, professional writing, and strategic planning.

Some domestic travel is likely required, and the role is for a proposal effort with offers contingent on award.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in emergency management, homeland security, national security, public policy, political science, cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience on exercise planning, emergency management, homeland security, cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of emergency management, homeland security, or exercise planning principles.
• Strong research, analytical, organizational, and professional writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, design, conduct, and evaluation of Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program exercises for the CISA.
• Assist with development of exercise objectives, scenarios, materials, communications, facilitator materials, evaluation tools, and reports.
• Conduct background research and analyze information related to homeland security, cybersecurity, critical infrastructure, and emergency management.
• Coordinate scheduling, participant tracking, document management, meeting support, and exercise logistics.
• Support planning meetings, exercise delivery, facilitation, evaluation, and after-action activities with government and private-sector stakeholders.
• Capture meeting notes, decisions, action items, participant feedback, and exercise observations accurately.
• Draft and revise reports and client deliverables using templates and style requirements.
• Perform quality-control reviews for grammar, formatting, consistency, and completeness.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to complete tasks within schedules.
