Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a seasoned professional to plan, direct, and coordinate enterprise-scale projects across revenue cycle, hospital and clinic operations, IT, and strategy. The role focuses on driving ROI, governance, and cross-functional collaboration to improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will have five years of program experience in healthcare settings, a Bachelor's in a related field, and a PMP certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, nursing or related field required.
• MHA, MBA, MSN or related degree preferred.
• Five years experience in implementing and supporting complex medium to enterprise scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive change management within their scope of work by effectively communicating project information to stakeholders, driving accountability to timelines and objectives and managing customer’s expectations.
• Lead, coach and motivate project team members including leadership and front line staff.
• Validate work plan, duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority with management.
• Plan and organize all aspects of the project life cycle for small and medium sized projects including – definition of scope, objectives, compliance and governance.
• Determine staffing requirements, and allotment of available department resources to various phases of the project including direction and coordinate activities of project personnel.
• Shadow and round in assigned areas or projects to assist with information gathering related to people, process and priorities.
• Prepare reports for management, client and others.
