Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Consultant to plan, direct, and coordinate enterprise-scale projects affecting revenue cycle, hospital and clinic operations, and IT/business strategy. You will execute project plans, drive change management, and work with physicians and staff to deliver measurable ROI.

The role requires strong communication, leadership, and analytical skills, plus experience with healthcare information systems and MS Office. Exempt, full-time, on-site in the system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, nursing or related field is required.
• Five years of experience implementing and supporting complex projects; three years with a master's degree.
• PMI PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates enterprise-scale projects in revenue cycle, hospital and clinic operations, and IT/business strategy.
• Executes project plans using best practices and ensures ROI targets are achieved.
• Participates in identifying opportunities for process or cost improvements within the system.
• Drive change management and lead project teams including leadership and frontline staff.
• Prepare reports and analyze data to support decision-making.
• Collaborate with physicians, patients, and service providers to achieve superior results.
