Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care is seeking a Senior Manager Supply Chain to lead end-to-end management of medical supplies, storage, and distribution, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness in support of patient care.

The role oversees multi-site operations, collaborates with clinical, administrative, regulatory, finance, and operational teams, and drives KPIs, staffing development, and strategic improvements to optimize the supply chain environment.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Master’s degree in a related field.
• Lean, Six Sigma, project management, emergency preparedness, or advanced supply chain systems training.
• Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
• Cross functional management skills; advanced analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Proficiency with supply chain management software and tools; Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes complex supply availability, inventory, workflow, space, service, and distribution issues that may affect clinical or business operations.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels; coordinate storage, distribution, and delivery of medical supplies and equipment; manage cold chain and hazardous materials if applicable.
• Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations, standards, and organizational policies; maintain quality and safety standards
• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities; develop forecasting models based on clinical protocols and demand
• Work with clinical, administrative, regulatory, finance, and operational teams to align supply chain strategies with healthcare service needs
• Lead initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and achieve cost savings; implement KPIs and reporting tools
• Manage and mentor supply chain staff; ensure training and competency in roles and compliance requirements
• Completes assigned goals and responsibilities in support of department and organizational priorities.
