Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review and submit documentation for new item additions and changes to MMIS to ensure information accuracy and compliance with GPO or Local contracts.
• Review approved department requisitions and issue appropriate purchase orders.
• Coordinate with accounts payable, receiving, and finance to expedite invoice payment and resolve discrepancies.
• Remain knowledgeable about market conditions and trends affecting healthcare purchasing.
• Input requisitions and purchase orders and run reports as needed.
• Assist in day-to-day supplier interactions including ordering, confirming, and delivery of supplies and services.
• Negotiate and settle supplier issues related to damaged claims, rejections, or returns.
• Monitor vendor performance and follow up to expedite deliveries.
