Job summary

CarePoint, a physician-owned multispecialty medical group, seeks a Chief Operating Officer to drive operational excellence across its multi-state footprint. The role partners with the CMO to align clinical quality with business operations, standardize workflows, and steer technology, talent, and growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Seven years of progressive healthcare management experience.
• Experience operating across multiple states within physician groups/hospital systems.
• Direct or matrixed leadership overseeing functional operational units (e.g., IT, HR, Marketing).
• Experience leading payer and hospital/health system contract negotiations across multiple service lines.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight of each division, ensuring alignment with mission, quality standards, and strategic goals.
• Coach and manage division leaders, setting performance expectations and development.
• Oversee administrative functions to support enterprise operations and divisional needs.
• Partner with enterprise leaders to support local decision-making and strategic priorities.
• Lead contract negotiations and pro forma development across divisions; monitor performance and renewals.
