Job summary

Pinehurst Medical Clinic (PMC) is seeking an Associate Director of Operations to lead daily operations across clinics, drive performance improvements, and oversee staffing, budgeting, and regulatory compliance. You will partner with providers and staff to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient workflow.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, cross-department collaboration, and continuous improvement to support the clinic’s mission and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a health/administration field.
• Five+ years of practice management experience if holding an Associate’s degree.
• Advanced degree (MHA/MBA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the Practice Manager/Supervisors for daily operations.
• Analyze department financials/trends to identify cost-effective operations.
• Develop and administer staffing strategy for efficient clinic operations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to organizational policies.
• Oversee recruitment, retention, and staff development.
• Coordinate operational projects and reporting with the Director.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence.
• Manage provider, team, and patient relations and resolve issues.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in health, Business Administration, Nursing, or a related field

Associate’s Degree with five (5) or more years as a practice manager

MHA or MBA, or Masters in a relevant field
