Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Manager Contracting to lead cross-functionally within the Supply Chain department, source and contract for materials, goods, services, and equipment. You will conduct complex financial analyses and coordinate with committees, executives, physicians, legal and risk departments.

The role includes developing the annual contract work plan with Value Analysis and preparing contract content for legal review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or related field.
• Seven years of contracting and supply chain experience, including three years in people management.
• Preferred CPCM/CTCM/CTCD certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily activities of staff in the department and provide mentoring.
• Ensure quality, productivity, and budget compliance within the unit.
• Guide contracting team to present sourcing recommendations to stakeholders and coordinate with legal.
