Job summary

Mount Sinai Health Partners (MSHP) is seeking a Senior Contracting Analyst to analyze and report financial performance for Commercial and Medicare contracts. You will gather data, analyze trends, and coordinate with multiple departments to drive facility contracting objectives.

The role requires seven years in healthcare analytics, knowledge of payer economics, and strong Excel skills. This position sits within the MSHP team and reports to senior MSHP leadership in New York.

Qualifications

• At least seven years of experience in healthcare analytics (with a Bachelor’s).
• Health plan experience in Medical Economics or Value Based Payments preferred.
• Understanding of Excel functions (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIFS) required.

Responsibilities

• Research from original contract amendments all financial terms.
• Procure and upload all financial data into Experian Contract Manager Tool.
• Model payer proposals in Experian Contract Manager Tool.
• Reconcile budgeted revenue vs actual revenue.
• Perform root cause analysis on medical and pharmacy trends for all contracts.
• Create PowerPoint presentations detailing analyses of facility contracting performance.
• Collaborate with Commercialization, Finance, and Patient Accounts.
