Job summary

Energy Transfer is seeking an Analyst - Growth Projects in Houston to join the accounting and finance team. You will work with Engineering Project Managers to provide cost controls, analyze scope changes, and help forecast monthly finances for active projects.

The role requires a Bachelor's in finance/accounting or related field, strong Excel skills, and experience with financial software. Travel up to 5% may be required, with a focus on reliable cost management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, construction management or business, or equivalent experience.
• MS Office Suite experience, especially Excel.
• Comfortable with financial software packages.
• Exhibits strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to challenge assumptions respectfully.
• Able to communicate with Analysts and Project Managers and resolve project issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide cost controls support on projects.
• Evaluate cost impact of scope changes and contracts.
• Code and track invoices, verify rates per contract.
• Forecast project finances monthly with Project Manager.
• Provide project metrics and quarterly accruals.
• Track and manage purchase orders, contracts, and re-classes as needed.
• Handle ad-hoc requests as required.
