Job summary

Vertiv is seeking a Strategic Planner to shape our Power PMO strategy and allocate resources to maximize investments. You will analyze industry trends, identify opportunities, and develop forward-looking plans across AC Power lines.

Responsibilities include research, modeling, and collaboration with business leaders to build cases, pricing insights, and execution plans. The role requires strong communication and complex program management in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in consulting or internal strategy/operations
• Bachelors' degree in business-related field; MBA preferred
• Complex program management experience
• Analytical skills to understand impact of recommendations
• Clear, well-developed communication and presentation skills
• Ability to build diverse relationships in a matrix organization
• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Smartsheet/Power BI preferred

Responsibilities

• Support product strategy with analysis, tools, models, and cadence
• Conduct primary/secondary research to assess competitive performance and growth
• Structure business cases, segmentation, pricing, benchmarking, and analysis
• Develop market models and derive insights from data sources
• Provide analytical tools to develop recommendations and plans
• Collaborate with stakeholders to uncover solutions via critical thinking
• Drive project cadence and ensure timely outcomes with diverse stakeholders
• Manipulate data in Excel/Power BI to construct forecasts and models
