Job summary

Barley Snyder LLC in Lancaster, PA seeks a Chief Marketing & Business Development Officer to lead marketing, business development, client development, and brand strategy across the firm.

The CMBDO will shape strategies, oversee pitches and proposals, drive client and cross-selling initiatives, manage the marketing and BD team, CRM, budgeting, analytics, and reporting, and coach partners and attorneys in business development to support revenue growth.

Qualifications

• Ten years of progressive leadership experience in law firm or professional services
• Proven track record driving business development tied to revenue growth, client acquisition and retention
• Experience managing pitches, proposals, and RFPs
• Experience leading and developing professional teams and coaching partners and attorneys in BD
• Strong experience with CRM systems, pipeline management, budgeting, and analytics

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of firmwide marketing and business development strategies
• Oversee pitch, proposal, and pursuit processes
• Direct brand, communications and digital marketing efforts
• Coach attorneys and partners in business development
• Manage BD and marketing team; oversee CRM strategy, pipeline, budgeting, analytics and reporting
• Serve as trusted advisor to firm leadership to align initiatives with revenue growth goals
