Job summary

Bluewave Technology Group in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a Corporate Development Associate to join the growth team, reporting to VP Corporate Development. You will shape inorganic growth through mergers, partnerships, and select investments while collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

You’ll manage due diligence, modeling, and deal execution from screening to close, develop memos for the Board, and help build repeatable tools for post-close reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business.
• Strong valuation, modeling, and deal-structuring skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong risk awareness.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams with urgency.

Responsibilities

• Define inorganic growth areas with executive leadership.
• Build a proactive pipeline of acquisition and partnership opportunities.
• Lead deal evaluation, diligence, and transaction execution.
• Develop models and analyses to support investment decisions.
• Coordinate cross-functional due diligence with Finance, Legal, IT, Sales.
• Prepare investment memos and presentations for senior leadership and Board.
• Support post-close items and reporting.
