Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Corporate Development Manager to support growth initiatives by delivering market, customer, and technology insights and evaluating strategic opportunities. The role involves collaboration with executive teams, business units, and regions to drive acquisitions, joint ventures, minority investments, and other growth options.

The position requires 3–8 years of business strategy experience, strong financial modeling, and English fluency.

Qualifications

• Experience in market, customer, competitor, financial, or strategic assessment.
• Background in corporate development, strategy, consulting, business development, investment assessment, venture capital, private equity, or M&A preferred.
• Fluency in English and work authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop insights on priority markets, customers, competitors, technologies, and industry trends to support strategic planning and investment opportunity identification.
• Prepare materials for Executive Committee and Board discussions on investment opportunities and recommended actions.
• Lead cross-functional workstreams across global teams and stakeholders to advance growth initiatives.
