Warren Whitney seeks an experienced Director of Business Development to expand client and referral relationships across Central Virginia. This senior, consultative role involves engaging CEOs, C-suite executives, board members, and other leaders, while building trusted relationships with business and nonprofit leaders.

The director will connect prospective clients with the right Warren Whitney experts and foster long-term engagements.

Qualifications

Proven track record in business development or client development within professional services or related fields.
Established connections within the Richmond and Central Virginia business community.
Ability to engage CEOs, C-suite executives, board members, and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing clients, focusing on CEOs and senior leaders.
Identify organizations that could benefit from fractional executive and consulting services.
Develop understanding of client needs and connect them with Warren Whitney capabilities.
Lead opportunities from initial relationship to engagement through proposals.
Expand relationships with existing clients and explore new services.
Collaborate with bankers, attorneys, wealth advisors, and other trusted advisors.
