Job summary

Synopsys, Inc. in Sunnyvale seeks a Principal for Strategy & Corporate Development to lead medium/long-term planning, oversee strategic acquisitions due diligence, and guide high-impact projects with the CSO organization.

You will collaborate with Corporate Development, cross-functional teams, and senior executives to shape business portfolios, KPI-driven programs, and strategic initiatives. This role requires in-person presence five days a week at headquarters.

Qualifications

• Experience in management consulting. Investment experience valued but not required.
• Strong Excel modeling skills; due diligence experience valued. Financial modeling such as P&L, market model, business case.
• Knowledge of Semiconductor or Software industry valued but not required.
• MBA degree valued but not required.

Responsibilities

• Define the company's medium/long-term ambitions and strategy through the annual planning process.
• Collaborate on strategy-driven M&A plans and due diligence for acquisitions; support integration planning.
• Lead C-suite level projects from framing to actionable recommendations.
• Partner with business units to develop strategies and identify priority initiatives across product/engineering, GTM, and operations.
• Drive cross-unit strategic initiatives with KPIs and program management structures.
• Support CEO/CSO on strategy-related communications.
