Job summary

Hitachi Energy is seeking a Corporate Development Manager to support strategic initiatives, market assessments, and investment evaluations that enhance the reliability of power systems. You will deliver executive-ready materials and lead cross-functional workstreams across global teams from Raleigh, NC or Wilton, CT five days a week.

The role requires English fluency, 3-8 years in business strategy or related fields, and a background in corporate development, consulting, or M&A.

Qualifications

• Experience in market, customer, competitor, financial, or strategic assessment.
• Strong financial assessment and modeling skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for executive-ready materials.
• Ability to manage cross-functional workstreams and influence senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop insights on priority markets, customers, competitors, technologies, and industry trends.
• Prepare materials for Executive Committee and Board discussions.
• Lead workstreams on strategic/investment projects including acquisitions, JVs, minority/venture investments.
• Support growth initiatives by assessing strategic fit, value, risks, and governance considerations.
• Structure ambiguous business challenges and develop actionable recommendations.
