Job summary

Ounalashka Corporation is seeking a highly motivated Business Development & Contracts Manager to lead strategic growth initiatives and support the Corporation and its federal contracting subsidiary.

This role combines business development, capture management, relationship building, contract administration, and compliance oversight to expand opportunities and strengthen long-term organizational success in Alaska.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Five+ years of federal contracting, business development, capture management, or related experience.
• Knowledge of federal procurement processes and regulations.
• Experience reviewing, negotiating, and managing contracts and agreements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead federal, state, local, and commercial contracting opportunity identification and pursuit.
• Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies, prime contractors, and stakeholders.
• Oversee capture planning, bid/no-bid evaluations, and proposal coordination.
• Ensure compliance with solicitation requirements and contract terms.
• Support audits, risk management, and strategic decision-making.
