Job summary

Humana Inc is seeking a Strategy Advancement Advisor who provides data-based strategic direction to identify and address business issues and opportunities. The role supports the Illinois FIDE contract and Medicaid/Medicare initiatives, collaborating with national operations to align strategy, governance, and execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years leading large-scale projects or 8+ years equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience turning strategy into execution from conception to implementation.
• Strong written and verbal communication for executive-level reporting.
• Experience with Medicare Advantage, Dual Eligible Special Needs Plans or Medicaid.
• Excellent collaboration and facilitation to lead project teams.
• Strong time management for independent work.
• Ability to influence decisions in a matrixed organization with data.
• Willingness to travel to Illinois office and Humana offices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support priority health plan and care delivery integration workstreams for the Illinois FIDE contract.
• Support Medicaid Illinois leadership with Medicare operational impacts and related strategies.
• Collaborate with national Medicare and Medicaid teams to support Humana's strategic priorities.
• Promote strategic alignment across leadership and educate Illinois market leaders on strategy.
• Develop presentation materials, manage change, and communicate outcomes to stakeholders.
