Job summary

Extell Hospitality Services in New York City is seeking a Group & Airline Reservations Manager for Kimpton Era Midtown. You will oversee daily execution of group and airline room blocks, inventory, and manifests, reporting to the Area Director of Revenue Strategy, ensuring accurate billing and seamless cross-department coordination.

The role requires 3+ years in hotel reservations or revenue management, experience with PMS/CRS and Opera, strong numerical and communication skills, and flexibility

Qualifications

• 3+ years in hotel reservations or revenue management in a luxury or boutique environment.
• Experience with PMS/CRS and Opera is required.
• Strong numerical reasoning and daily reconciliations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Block & Inventory Management: set up room blocks and track availability.
• Allocation Adjustments: adjust room allocations as blocks expand.
• Rate & Operational Coordination: align rates with allocations and coordinate with Housekeeping.
• Manifest Administration & Communication: manage manifests and respond to group inquiries.
• Documentation & Compliance: audit sign-in sheets and maintain records.
• Accounting, Billing & Reconciliation: daily reconciliation of group activity and fees.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: resolve billing disputes with Front Office and Sales.
• Guest Service & Support: process folios and billing corrections for guests.
• Leadership & Supervision: mentor Group & Airline Supervisors as the team grows.
