Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a SR Sourcing Category Management Analyst for Ground Transportation in Cincinnati. You will support strategy execution, reduce spend, and strengthen stakeholder and supplier relationships while upholding Kroger values.

Responsibilities include cost analysis, supplier negotiations support, and performance tracking to drive cost savings and process improvements across transportation categories.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• 1 year of procurement experience.
• Demonstrated leadership ability.
• Ability to quantify and communicate business risks.

Responsibilities

• Develop award optimization scenarios to minimize total cost of ownership.
• Respond to supplier and stakeholder questions on category, supply, event, price, or specification.
• Support supplier financing programs including early payment and accounts payable.
• Prepare planning guides for negotiations and support where needed.
• Conduct sourcing analysis, benchmarking and should-cost modeling.
• Identify total internal costs with supplier price, delivery and quality to drive savings.
